The Role

The Administration Officer is considered an important and integral role within the Administration Team and greater business. This position would suit someone with sound knowledge of general accounts and administration tasks and at least 2 years’ experience working within an administration department or similar.

The successful candidate will assist with the day-to-day administration tasks of the business such as:

  • Answering incoming account enquiries (billing queries, credits and general enquiries)
  • Reconciling supplier invoices
  • Credit checking new clients and processing new accounts
  • Accounts receivable and payable
  • Invoicing
  • Interacting with clients and suppliers on a daily basis
  • Various other activities

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate:

  • Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
  • A high level of attention to detail
  • The ability to work autonomously to deadlines
  • A commitment to providing a high level of customer service
  • A willingness to be hands on, with a “can do” attitude
  • Reliability and punctuality
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word and Excel

Big Post is seeking someone who is proactive, friendly natured, and capable of making independent decisions with the ability to implement positive change. Previous experience working within the transport industry will be an advantage but is not essential.

This is a full time, permanent position available immediately. Working alongside the Admin Manager & Admin Team Leader, you will receive all of the necessary training you need in order to be successful in this role and be encouraged to think outside the box to improve workflows and internal processes.
