The Role

This hands-on role involves working in a Customer Service Team who display care and understanding for their customers, whilst problem solving various inquiries on a daily basis. Our focus is on providing exceptional customer service, always.

The successful candidate will assist with the day-to-day operations of the Customer Service Team by performing the following duties:

  • Answering inbound phone calls and making outbound calls
  • Using our CRM to answer a variety of web based and email inquiries
  • Monitoring and coordinating the movement of freight
  • Liaising with contracted agents such as carriers and depotse

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate:

  • High level of literacy and numeracy skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to providing a high level of customer service
  • A willingness to be hands on, with a "can do" attitude
  • Time management skills (ability to prioritise)
  • Reliability and punctuality

Big Post are seeking someone with a friendly and ambitious personality to join our fast growing business, who has at least two years' experience working in a customer contact centre or office environment. Experience working within the transport/freight industry will be an advantage but is not essential.

To be eligible to apply, you must have Australian or New Zealand citizenship or permanent residency status.
